Handmade in Ghana by one of the very talented women at Global Mamas' Cape Coast Batiking and Sewing Center. This center was the first Global Mamas location in Ghana. It’s currently home to over 100 women-owned businesses, many who work from their home or their own shop.

Global Mamas was founded in 2003 to help create prosperity for African women and their families. Their amazing global network of thousands of people include the artisans who hand make high quality goods, employees who manage production and provide customer service, international volunteers and interns who help with development, and donors who fund expansion. Global Mamas is justifiably proud of their organization and the empowerment of its African Mama artisans. Its Mamas have educated their children, purchased new equipment, developed new skills, opened shops, and built homes. Amazing and inspirational! Fair trade certified.
